We know that visiting a dental office for the first time can be a little intimidating, and you might have questions about what to expect, how you’ll be able to pay, what you need to bring with you, and so on. We’re here to provide you with all of the answers you need to feel comfortable and confident about your dental care! Your First Visit
Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect before and after you arrive here:
- Planning Out Your Visit – It all begins with the initial call—we want to be sure that every patient receives a warm and friendly welcome! During this conversation, we’ll help to identify the best time and date for your visit. We’ll also gather your insurance information so we can do a complimentary benefits check. You can complete your patient intake forms in advance, too. You will also receive a reminder text one week before your appointment as well as a confirmation call/text a few days prior.
- Arriving at Our Office – On the day of your appointment, you’ll be greeted by name when you arrive. We’ll also be sure you’re comfortable and answer any questions you have before taking you back, introducing you to your team, and taking necessary X-rays.
- Receiving Dental Care – Next, the hygiene team will come in and explain the teeth cleaning process step-by-step, as well as share their findings with you, before introducing your doctor. From there, they’ll spend time getting to know you and your smile and ensuring you fully understand your oral health before any treatments are planned. If no immediate treatment is needed, great! However, we can also often accommodate same-day care if needed.
- Wrapping Up Your Appointment – You’ll also have the option to speak with a financial advisor; transparency is one of our absolute priorities. You’ll be walked through all of your benefits and any out-of-pocket costs. We’ll also help you schedule any necessary follow-up appointments, make sure your financials are squared away, and answer any questions you have about your treatment, post-op guidelines, etc.

To help make things as easy as possible on the day of your appointment, we’ve included all of the new patient paperwork that you’ll need to fill out in advance below. You can either complete these forms and submit them online or download them, fill them out at your leisure, and bring them with you to your appointment.
Dental Insurance & Medicaid Welcome
Our office is in-network with most PPO dental insurance plans, and we also accept Medicaid. We’re also happy to help you navigate the specifics of your plan and make sure you’re maximizing your coverage whenever possible, and we can even help you with the filing portion of the process. If you don’t have dental insurance coverage for you and your family, don’t panic—you can still lower the cost of your dental care in Fort Worth. Our office is partnered with Cherry.
